SATs
Scholastic Assessment Test it’s a standardized test that used to be required by most U.S. colleges for admission. Purpose: Measure your reading, writing, and math skills. Score range: 400 – 1600.
ACT
Another standardized test (similar to SAT).
Covers English, Math, Reading, Science, and an optional Writing section.
Score range: 1 – 36.
AP (Advanced Placement) Exams
Taken in high school after AP classes.
Show that you can handle college-level work.
Some colleges give you credit if you score well (3–5).
IB (International Baccalaureate) Exams
Like AP but part of a special high school program (IB Diploma).
Accepted worldwide.
